Niku (Nick) Shah, MFT

As a queer South Asian American therapist, my life experience helps support my empathetic approach in therapy. I specialize in providing body-centered, trauma-informed, psychodynamic therapy to Queer, Trans, Non-Binary people, people of color and immigrants of the diasporas.

I deeply value the therapeutic relationship as a change agent and find I work best with people who want me to be a collaborator with them on their healing journey. Through a supportive therapeutic approach, and one in which insight can be built and old trauma healed, I find I am able to help my clients manage their depression, anxiety, overwhelm, worry and stress. I specialize in psychotherapy for adults, teens and children.
